Following breakfast, we will continue our exploration of Accra, visiting several key attractions, including:

Once we’ve fueled up for the day, we will embark on our adventure heading east to the renowned Safari Valley Resort, a picturesque destination known for its stunning landscapes and wildlife.

At the resort, guests will be treated to an exhilarating safari tour, where they can observe the beauty of nature and the diverse wildlife that calls this area home. Following an action-packed morning, we’ll gather for a delicious lunch featuring local delicacies, offering an authentic taste of the region.

In the afternoon, guests will have the opportunity to participate in a variety of activities. Whether you choose to go horseback riding through the scenic trails, play a round of golf at the resort’s course, dive into the refreshing swimming pool, or engage in a fun game of basketball, there is something for everyone.

After a restful night, we will enjoy a sumptuous breakfast at the luxurious Safari Valley Resort, where the focus is on fresh, locally sourced ingredients. Once we’ve had our fill, we will make our way to the Ashanti Region, a vibrant area renowned for its rich culture and heritage.

Our accommodations for the next two nights will be at Veronique Heights, a comfortable lodge strategically located in the heart of Kumasi. Guests can relax in their rooms and take in the surroundings before we set off for a day of exploration.

Our first stop will be Bonwire, known for its stunning Kente cloth. Here, we’ll explore the intricate art of Kente weaving, visit the historic Manhyia Palace, delve into the local arts at the Cultural Centre, marvel at the legendary Komfo Anokye Sword Site, and experience the bustling atmosphere of Kajetia Market, one of the largest markets in West Africa.

After an enriching day of cultural immersion, we will enjoy a unique dining experience in Kumasi. Guests can savor local dishes and enjoy the city’s lively atmosphere at night.

Our day starts with a hearty breakfast at Veronique Heights, preparing us for an exciting itinerary. We will then head back to Bonwire to meet the Bonwire King, who will share with us the deep-rooted culture and traditions of the Ashanti people. Guests will have the rare opportunity to witness the intricate process of Kente weaving firsthand, gaining insight into this remarkable craft.

Following our visit, we will journey to Assin Manso River, a historically significant site known as the final bathing place for many ancestors before they were forcibly taken away. Here, guests will partake in a deeply moving spiritual experience featuring a traditional naming ceremony to honor and welcome those returning to their ancestral roots.

After this poignant ceremony, we will continue our adventure, going to the Central Region, eager to discover more of the rich history and stunning landscapes that await us.

Guests will start their day with a delightful breakfast spread at the Coconut Grove Hotel in Elmina, featuring a variety of local and continental dishes to energize them for the day’s adventures. After breakfast, we will embark on a visit to the historic Elmina Castle, a UNESCO World Heritage site. Here, guests will have the opportunity to explore the castle’s somber corridors and gain insight into its poignant history, which played a significant role in the transatlantic slave trade.

Following this moving experience, we will depart for Kakum National Park, where a thrilling adventure awaits. Guests will be guided through the lush rainforest, home to diverse wildlife and exotic flora. The highlight of this visit will be the famous canopy walk, allowing guests to stroll 30 meters above the ground, enjoying breathtaking views of the forest and its inhabitants from a unique perspective.

After our nature-filled morning, we will travel to Cape Coast Castle, another landmark steeped in history. Here, guests will learn about the castle’s significant role in colonial history and its impact on the African diaspora. The tour will provide an in-depth understanding of the struggles faced by many and the enduring legacy of this historic site.

Lunch will be served onboard the bus as we journey towards Accra, allowing guests to enjoy a selection of local dishes while marveling at the countryside views. Upon arrival in Accra, guests will check in at the luxurious Labadi Beach Hotel, where they can relax and unwind in paradise, with stunning views of the Atlantic Ocean.

On the final day, guests will wake up to a sumptuous breakfast at the Labadi Beach Hotel, savoring a mix of continental and traditional Ghanaian flavors. After breakfast, we will prepare for our departure as we ensure that guests are comfortably packed for their journey home. A timely transfer will be arranged to take guests to Kotoka International Airport, where they can catch their flights back, taking with them cherished memories of their incredible trip.
